New Cousin!

I have a new cousin, and his name is Cameron Mathew Russ. He's so cute! He also has a nickname. Herbert Ninenger! My Uncle Brad made it all up. When Aunt Jenn had Cameron in her belly, Uncle Brad started joking that he would name the baby Herbert. And the name sort of stuck. Before that we called him popcorn shrimp, because he was the size of a popcorn shrimp. In the picture that I drew, I forgot the first r in Herbert. So it's hebert! I made a quilt for him with frogs on it.It was probably the biggest quilt I made, and it's my second. The picture of Chloe holding him was hard to get. We had to get Drew to back off. Drew get's in his face sometimes, and when he does'nt mean to , he hurts him. I think he's a little jealous, but he will get over it. When Drew takes a nap, we lay him on the floor. He loves it! He kicks, and streches, and he smiles. He is so sweet!

I turned ten last Tuesday, which means that now I am double digits. I'm very excited! My party was great, and I had a ball. It was a glittery sleepover. I am not way into glitter stuff, but I got the idea from a book called Snooza Palooza from American Girl, and it was cool. Daddy hung white Christmas lights on the trampoline.Nina made a great cake. It had white icing on it and pretty ribbons coming down from the top.When it was time for me to get my pictures made with the cake, little Drew was begging to touch it, and it was so cute becouse he was atempting to sing happy birthday!There was punch and we drank it out of fancy glasses. It was purple, so we called it kid wine. Some of us, including me, stayed up and talked until 3 a.m. Mamma let us sleep in the camper.I also got the greatest gifts ever. I got a Nintindo ds from Mamma and Daddy, Felicity's horse from Nina and Grandpa, I got roller skates, and these stages that my dolls can stand on, and several outfits for my dolls, too.And before the party, Jill took me shopping and got me a glittery outfit that I wore for the party.Tiffany and Tony did make overs, just like at a salon. And we also made flip flops glitery, and put jewls on picture frames and sun glasses.. It was great!

Spring is coming and I'm very excited, soon we can go swimming and my birth day will be here. I had the most amazing day! Me and Daddy went over to the dog pen to practice batting, 'cause I am on the soft ball team. Mamma and Chloe came around and and we went to the azalia bushes and picked flowers. We even ran in the sprinklers. I bet you won't guess what we did next. Well, a man came by to buy plants. he had a pet cacatoo. we could hold it, and it would poop on cammand! one time it went on the roof and came back!It made all kinds of funny noises. That night we had a cook out and played games like T-ball, kick ball, and dogd ball.Lots of people came. on a saterday, I had my game.We lost only by 7 to 8. after the game we went to grandpas house. Daddy took this picture of me and Chloe in are uniformes. She plays T-ball, and Mr. Jeff is her coach. Those were 2 great days!

Camping At Fort De Soto

We had a great time camping! Back in January, we went camping at Fort De Soto. Me and Taylor found the best climbing tree ever. It took me a few times to get up, but soon I got it! We also went to the beach, and I found some pretty shells. Elijah and I started making a drippy sand castle, but we did not finish it. And I swam under water with my eyes open for the first time! I can't wait till the next camping trip!

When we went to the zoo, we saw lots of birds of prey. This barn owl was just one of them. This owl is the kind we have around here. Barn owls do nest in barns. They are so pretty! We also saw the great horned owl,(wich is endanger),and hawks.

Flamingos are so pretty and graceful! You know the reason they are pink? Well, these flamigos have been eating shrimp. But if they were eating fish, they would be white! They were realy smelly, but cool to watch.
