Colonial Williamsburg

This is a picture of me,(with my new mob-cap on) Chloe, Stephanie, and Olivia with a man and a lady dressed up in thier colonial clothes. There is also another little boy in the picture who just jumped in there with us. This picture was taken before a show called Revolutionary City. We only saw the beginning of the show because there is so much in Williamsburg to see that there is not time for it all. We had a great time that day.

Chloe had gotten a tricorn hat and a gun. When we went to the saddlemaker's shop, the woman at the front talked to her about women soldiers. Chloe got a lot of cute comments from her hat and musket. She and Olivia played gunfights and Olivia had a stick for a gun. I picked out a mob cap, but, as usual, she wanted the boy one. But, we did learn that when women rode horses, they often wore tricorn hats.

Looks like you girls are having a good time. We are taking good care of your animals. Drew enjoys feeding Coco everyday.

We miss you!

Alma, you are a pro at this blogging stuff! Good work! I'm loving those pictures. How funny that little boy jumping in your picture :) Jake's been asking about Coco...even though he's scared to pieces of him. We'll see you soon!
